Rails applications can be tested at several levels: model and unit tests for isolated behaviour, request tests for HTTP behaviour, and system tests for browser-level interaction.

Capybara is the common interface for browser-level tests. Cuprite is a Capybara driver that controls Chromium through the Chrome DevTools Protocol.
